A "Mini" Cleanup with a Large Impact

Who knew that so few people could clean up so much trash! On July 31, in just 90 minutes, four of us collected 41 pounds of trash from the bike path along North Ave.

Whenever I pass by it, I always see people walking or biking along the trail, and I’ve used it many times with my friends and family. So, it made me really happy to know that we were protecting a beloved location within our

community, and I hope that we can keep this bike path clean for our future neighbors and friends.

Most of all, this cleanup was very empowering because it showed me that even just a few people can make a difference in the community. And, to make it even better, we all had fun and formed new connections while we were at it!

Special thanks to Christian Coon and Chris Bollinger for participating in our mini-cleanup!
